Advertising privacy choices
Advertising consent is separate from optional site analytics. This site requests non-personalized ads only. On advertising pages, ad requests are paused until the CMP reports a known regional status. Where EU consent applies, requests remain paused until a recorded choice permits storage and Google as a vendor. Rejection, unavailable CMP or unknown status keeps requests paused. Non-personalized ads are not automatically exempt from consent requirements.
Google scripts may still load while ad requests are paused; this is not a block on every network connection or all access to existing Google cookies. Only a published, Google-certified CMP can gather advertising consent. This page has no ad or CMP tag. On the game page, Privacy & cookie settings reopens the applicable Google message when ready; otherwise it returns here. Applicable US privacy choices are provided by Google’s published message.
1. Operator and scope
Free Tetris operates freetetris.pe.kr, its browser game, leaderboard, and related pages. You can contact the operator or exercise privacy rights through the on-site contact form. No account is required to play.
2. Information we handle
Essential session and visitor identifiers support security, score verification, and recognition of a returning browser. Device preferences store your player name, personal best, sound setting, language choice, and analytics choice.
When you play, we process the display name you choose, score, lines, level, play duration, games played, timestamps, and a one-way keyed visitor identifier. Display names and best game records are public on the leaderboard. Contact requests include the email address, request type, message, locale, reference, and timestamps you submit. Standard security logs may include IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and request time.
If you explicitly allow optional site analytics, random browser and session identifiers plus page path, title, referrer, language, screen size, viewport, and general browser or device information are collected. The analytics system honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals.
3. Why we use information
We use information to provide the game and leaderboard, validate scores, prevent abuse, preserve settings, answer requests, secure and debug the service, comply with law, and—with consent where required—measure site use and serve or personalize advertising. Depending on applicable law, the legal basis is performance of the requested service, legitimate interests in security and operation, consent, or legal obligation.
4. Advertising, sharing, and international processing
Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies or similar technologies based on visits to this and other sites. Google advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve personalized ads where you consent and non-personalized or limited ads where applicable. Users can control personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and review participating ad technology providers.
Optional first-party analytics data is sent to the operator's AICodeLab analytics service only after you allow it. Service providers process data only to operate their functions. We do not sell personal information. Public leaderboard data is visible worldwide. Providers such as Google may process data in other countries under their own safeguards. IndexNow receives only public page URLs, never gameplay or contact data.
5. Retention and security
Session cookies last for the browser session; the visitor identifier lasts up to two years; game preferences and language last up to one year; and the analytics choice lasts up to six months. Optional analytics raw events are configured for 90-day retention. Contact requests are automatically scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Expired game sessions are routinely deleted, while leaderboard records remain until deletion is requested, they are no longer needed, or the service ends. Security logs follow server rotation and security needs.
We use HTTPS, restricted cookies, CSRF protection, validation, access controls, and keyed hashing. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may clear site data in your browser, turn optional analytics on or off below, use Google's advertising controls, and reopen Google's consent message through the Privacy & cookie settings link when available. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent, and may complain to a data protection authority. Submit requests through the contact form; identity may need to be verified before acting.
7. Children and policy changes
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request their personal information. If local law requires a higher age for independent consent, a parent or guardian should supervise use. Material policy changes will be posted here with a new update date.
